About BGR EVENTS
BGR EVENTS are a not-for-profit organisation, based in Wadsworth near Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. The organisers take no remunertation and we regularly donate any surpluses to local charities. We are proud that over £11,000 has been donated over the years.

We're committed to hosting excellent music events in Calderdale at affordable prices. See our coming gigs and some details of previous events listed below.

We host quality gigs by nationally renowned performers -- including Modern Folk, Blues and Americana.
​
Food -our famous pie and pea supper ( with vegan option) - and a great bar with craft beers are available at our shows.
​
We have an accessible WC, with easy wheelchair access into the venue . Blue - badge disabled car parking is available but we do require a day's prior notice by email to reserve a space for you.

Five leading lights of the British roots scene join forces to create a festive folk band like no other. Expect soaring harmonies and exquisite musicianship as the 5-piece blast through a repertoire of brand new, specially written songs, fresh arrangements of traditional carols both well-loved and little-known, and seasonal classics from both sides of the Atlantic.

Join us to see and hear SykesMartin, a collaboratiion between two of British folk's finest voices. Miranda Sykes (Show of Hands) and Hannah Martin (Edgelarks, Gigspanner Big Band) join forces to present a set of songs that take them back to their shared roots.
We're delighted to welcome back Miranda and Hannah to Wadsworth whose 2023 gig was so very well received

DIRECTIONS
Avoid approaching from Midgley / Luddenden
(Narrow road - especially difficult at night)
Best Directions: From Hebden Bridge take the A6033 up Keighley Road for 1.8 miles. Immediately before the Robin Hood Inn, turn back sharp right along Akroyd Lane . Follow the road for 0.9 mile along into Billy Lane and WCC is on the right, fifty yards before the Post Office.
